It's true that we never stand still. We're spinning through space right now, hurled along on the curves of a rock we don't fully understand, in a place we don't know beyond a few mathematics. So there's a lot of movement in all directions. When you think you're still you're moving and when you think you're moving, for all you know, you might — given all these invisible pushings and pullings — all these universal swings and roundabouts — be moving in the opposite direction to where you think you're heading.
