SEEING THE PICTURE | A DAY IN PARIS

SUMMER WORKSHOPS | DATES TO BE CONFIRMED
8 PEOPLE per day
PARIS — situated in the rue des Francs Bourgeos, inside as well as outside and around the interesting streets of the Marais district of Paris.
11:00—17:00

This course assumes no previous knowledge of digital photography — it is ideal for beginners — and for those who have some experience and are looking for inspiration to take them to their next level.

Through a series of short indoor and outdoor projects, you will learn the following:

• when to shoot
• how to always see more
• the 3 variables within which you must work
• effective informal portraits
• how to evaluate your own creativity
• the right mental focus and how to be prepared at all times

WHAT IT IS
It is about a new way of 'seeing' and 'thinking' — one that improves you as well as the subjects you choose to photograph. It is about understanding that it is YOU who are the camera, not that black box with the viewfinder. The objective is to release your creative brakes and increase your self-awareness.

WHAT IT IS NOT
The focus is not technical — and it is not dedicated to helping you understand your camera's handbook. In this way it is not just a beginner's guide to digital photography, and therefore unlike any other course you are likely to see on offer.
