Your Wedding
Why compromise your values?
Especially when choosing those to support you on the one day dedicated to celebrating your love.
Yes, we do offer wedding photography, albeit as a rarely offered book-us-if-we're-not-already-too-busy-elsewhere service. Our modest aim is to photograph a maximum of 4 wedding events a year. And why? Because we enjoy it! Not that stuffy nonesense where the photographer gets in the way and ruins the day for your guests. Or the one who can't think beyond set family poses or a tired bag of clichés that get trotted out regardless of who you are. No, what we enjoy is capturing the true essense of the loved-up couple and THEIR day. Are we right for you? Yes, if you prefer natural-looking shots, just the odd nod in the direction of 'the family portrait', and overall your event captured in a fresh and personal style that seeks to match the values of your love.
'You were the best wedding photographers we could have possibly hoped for. You captured the joy, unique character and wonderful memories from our special day.'
'The attention to detail was breathtaking – it's fantastic to have pictures spanning formal portraits, candid moments and the minutiae of lovingly made details such as Ann's cupcakes, Rosemary's home grown table decorations and of course – the cranes! We're relieved that after hand making 1000+ they have been preserved for posterity by expert photographers.'
'James and I both had reservations about 'wedding photos' – would we survive the scrutiny of the camera lens for a full day without scowling?! You guys made it so easy. Most of the day we were blissfully unaware of the lens and even formal photos were a pleasure.'
'We would most heartily recommend you to anyone seeking wedding photographers with an unobtrusive approach, genuine warmth and an ability to catch moments of happiness simply and beautifully.' – Mr & Mrs James and Sarah Dobson

Your wedding photography package is whatever you need. Standard packages are for others! But we will say that our preferred approach is two cameras working together, my assistant also taking images according to my instructions. It's fun that way. Indeed you never know, you might look at one camera and ignore the other, or not know you're being photographed at all. After all, it's the day you should be enjoying, not any concern or preoccupation with the photography.
