Norfolk space

A year in north Norfolk.

I have many images of north Norfolk that I'm currently evaluating. You know what it's like don't you? It's easier to take an image than know its quality. Which reminds me:

'I do not seek. I find.'
– Pablo Picasso

When I run a creative photography courses the most striking issue with students is their difficulties in knowing the value of their own work. For example, they may take a stunning shot but fail to notice it. Or they feel driven to choose another image which on further viewing is lacking the values they believe are there. In other words, emotion gets in the way of objectivity. So my advice to you as well as myself is not to judge your own images too hastily. Let them mature with a little natural time.
