Mark Rowden's first volume, 'King of Kings', was written in 1994–95, yet not published until 2000. Its theme largely relates to spiritual discovery. His second published volume, 'Prayer of The Grandees (and other Tales of the Destruction of England)', was written in 1998-99, it's theme related to the death of his sister, Sarah Czaplinska, in August 1998, and a fast deminishing idealisation of England's countryside.
'The Roaming Poet' was written in the US Virgin Islands in April 2006 and published the same year. It's theme concerns love, freedom and wisdom.
